Business for good.

As a printing company it's easy to assume we aren't exactly the poster child for helping the environment. Print is an inherently wasteful industry, so it's important for us to do as much as we can. If you have any suggestions of how we can be more sustainable as a printing business- please get in touch!

Firstly, did you know that we use a waterless UV litho printing technique? Saving water is definitely a priority!

We also, obviously, recycle as much as we can. We are careful not to waste, use or create more than we need. We also encourage anyone we work with to think about how something can be made a bit more long lasting! For example; waterproof stickers. Our sister company SuperTuffMenus® was born to reduce the endless printing of fragile menus in the hospitality industry!

We ensure that all of our paper stocks are FSC approved. This means we know that our paper is coming from sustainable and well managed forests. In addition to this, we love experimenting with new stocks and recently ordered some exciting recycled and seeded papers from Frogmore Mill. In fact just this morning we received a sample called "refit" which contains 15% wool or cotton fibres- giving a great texture but more importantly recycling waste from the textile manufacturing process.

However, we've chosen to share this with you this week because we have taken a leaf out of our sister company's book and have partnered with B1G1. This relationship means we can integrate giving back into our daily business routine. Our mission is to plant trees! We'd love feedback on how best you think we can integrate, how would you like to be involved?

We already print two trees when any of our customers fill in our feedback form following their order.

We could plant a tree when you place an order?

We could plant another when you pick up your print?

Your input is much appreciated!
